As North Carolina Braces for Hurricane Ian, Ted Budd Does Special Interest Bidding, Votes Against Best Interest of North Carolinians

Today, North Carolina Congressman and Republican candidate for U.S.Senate Ted Budd did the bidding of his top campaign backer and voted against natural disaster relief funding – even as North Caroline braces for the remnants of Hurricane Ian.  

“Ted Budd has spent his entire career leaving North Carolinians behind and he continues to try and climb the political ladder,” said American Bridge spokesperson Sarah Abel. “At a time when North Carolina needed their leaders to put their own self-interests aside, Ted Budd refused. Voters will hold him accountable in November.”

And this isn’t the first time Budd has turned his back on North Carolinians to do the bidding of corporate billionaire-backed Club for Growth and its affiliates in Washington:
