Kelly Ayotte Finally Endorsed Donald Trump

Mar 06, 2024

Heading the calls of her opponent, Chuck Morse, Kelly Ayotte finally publicly admitted she’s back on the Trump Train.

This morning, after weeks of her primary opponent, Chuck Morse, calling on her to tell New Hampshire voters who she is supporting in the presidential primary, Republican New Hampshire gubernatorial candidate Kelly Ayotte formally endorsed Donald Trump — after withdrawing her support for him in his 2016 re-election bid.

In response, American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Monica Venzke released the following statement:

“It’s clear that Kelly Ayotte knows that there is no longer a benefit in pretending that she isn’t just as extreme MAGA and far-right as Chuck Morse and Donald Trump. She’s coming back to Donald Trump, tail between her legs, hoping to get back into his good graces enough to secure an endorsement. The only person Kelly Ayotte is looking out for is Kelly Ayotte — not Granite Staters. She’s made it clear that, if elected, she’ll happily do Trump’s bidding in the corner office.”

While running for re-election as U.S. Senator in 2016, a race she ended up losing, Kelly Ayotte rolled back her unpopular comments about Trump being a “role model” and stated that she would not be voting for him. She cited the release of the Access Hollywood tapes of Donald Trump, stating, “He’s talking about assault on women, and I thought about years from now when my daughter, Kate, is old enough to know what is in those tapes and understand what he is talking about, I want her to know where I stood.”

Now, it seems this no longer matters to Ayotte. Does anything matter to her but winning?
