Donald Trump isn’t the only candidate in a 2016 race that Sarah Palin has put her stamp of approval on. Back in 2010, she alsoendorsed Kelly Ayotte’s senate run.
While it’s still to be seen just how willing Ayotte is to “go rogue,” she has repeatedly refused to distance herself from Trump’s candidacy despite the businessman’s offensive rhetoric. She even called his running for president a “positive thing.” Could it be because she has her eyes of a higher office?
Palin endorsed Trump because of his extreme and divisive policies — the same far-right values she liked in Ayotte.
