This week marks one year since the Supreme Court released its decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which struck down Roe v. Wade and overturned nearly 50 years of legal precedent.
Donald Trump and his anti-abortion administration are responsible for this horrendous legal action because Trump fundamentally changed the composition of the Supreme Court by appointing far-right activist justices.
Over the last year, MAGA Republican governors and state legislatures have followed Trump’s lead and worked to pass and enact extreme laws to outlaw abortion. As 2024 approaches, Trump is taking full credit for eliminating abortion rights for millions of Americans. He even took to Truth Social thanking himself for his ability to “kill” Roe v. Wade:
