POLITICO: Brunner's $12,500 For 'Media Coaching'

On February 2, 2012, POLITICO reported:

A review of his Federal Election Commission filing by the Democratic group American Bridge discovered just how much went into the making of candidate John Brunner.

Bridge found that Brunner paid more than $12,500 for “media coaching,”  including a $7,924 disbursement to Salient Point on Dec. 15 and another $4,746 on Nov. 22.

Bridge’s Matt Thornton lands the blow: “We now know why Brunner has been skipping all the debates in Missouri: he just wasn’t ready yet. Now that he has finished speaking school, we are eager to hear him come up with excuses for his absence, job losses at his company, and his inability to answer simple questions about his stance on issues.”
