Pressure is mounting on Donald Trump to release his tax returns. This morning, Wyoming Senator John Barrasso said it’s “a good idea” for Donald Trump to release his tax returns.
Now, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is suggesting that Trump release them, rightly noting that “[m]ost candidates for president have, and that’s been the tradition.” In fact, “most candidates” is an understatement, because every major party’s nominee since 1976 has released their returns.
