Montanans Are Going To Lose Their Health Care

… thanks to Republicans.

Republicans have started talking about their plan to gut Medicaid, and that’s a huge problem for Montanans.

Montana has a trigger law to automatically end Medicaid expansion if federal funding is cut — meaning that 117,000 Montanans could lose access to health care if Republicans go through with their plan.

“Steve Daines, Tim Sheehy, Troy Downing, and Ryan Zinke all voted for the Republican budget package that paved the way for Medicaid cuts, and they’re going to be the reason 117,000 Montanans lose their health care,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Monica Venzke. “As if raising costs on literally everything they need wasn’t enough, Republicans have decided to make sure Americans can’t afford health care, either. They ran on fixing the economy and helping people. They’ve done the opposite of both.”
