According to a new report from The Forward, Pennsylvania Republican Senate hopeful Doug Mastriano “recently compared his unsuccessful 2022 bid for Pennsylvania governor to Jews failed by churches that did not stand up to the Nazis.”
Last cycle, Mastriano welcomed support from far-right extremists and antisemites. He was also criticized for blowing a shofar during a campaign event, calling abortion a “barbaric holocaust”, and for starring in a Holocaust fan fiction film that equated gun safety legislation and abortion to Nazism.
