This week, American Bridge 21st Century Co-Chair Steve Bullock joined CNN Tonight to offer insights on the DOJ resuming a criminal probe of classified documents from Mar-a-Lago and Ginni Thomas agreeing to be interviewed by the January 6th committee.
“Look as someone that’s actually got to argue in front of the Supreme Court when I was state attorney general, you wanted to walk into that building truly believing that it’s above politics,” said Gov. Steve Bullock. “But what we have here, this is conspiracy wide, out in the wide open. [….] At the end of the day, look, assuming – it’s a scandal, assuming that we actually believe that this is not about politics and is about just the rule of law. But I think we’ve seen more and more with this court and all of the sort of gyrations in appointing this court that this independent branch of government, it’s hard for even lawyers to have faith in, let alone the populace.”
