Elise Stefanik Wants to Screw Over New Yorkers From a Different Office

Nov 07, 2025

After getting snubbed by Donald Trump and Republicans over and over again, Elise Stefanik is setting her sights on losing something back home in New York. She’s running for governor.

“Elise Stefanik claims to be a political outsider, knowing damn well she landed a Bush administration job literally four days after she graduated college, and has hardly left the beltway since.” said Monica Venzke, spokesperson for American Bridge 21st Century. “She’s made it abundantly clear that she’ll throw anyone, including New Yorkers and colleagues like Mike Lawler, under the bus if it means getting that sweet, sweet Trump attention— even when he pulls the rug out from under her again and again.”

As a reminder, Elise Stefanik:

  • Proudly voted to cut Medicaid and SNAP benefits from New Yorkers who rely on them.
  • Backed Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 United States presidential election and objected to Pennsylvania’s electoral votes after Trump supporters were involved in the 2021 United States Capitol attack.
  • Constantly refuses to respond to serious legal issues concerning Donald Trump, including the E. Jean Carroll judgment and Dominion Voting lawsuit.
  • Spread the debunked, racist “white replacement theory.”
