In case you missed it, Georgia Republican U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker was last week exposed for repeatedly lying about his academic achievements — just the latest in a long string of Walker exaggerations and lies that cast serious doubt about his integrity.
According to CNN, despite Walker’s repeated claims, it’s “not true” that “he graduated in the top 1% of his class at the University of Georgia.” Nor is it accurate, per CNN, that Walker was high school valedictorian — a claim he’s likewise made repeatedly.
It’s not the first time Walker’s been caught lying in the last few months: he also serially exaggerated his role in the Trump administration, and repeatedly made false claims about his business record.
