After Donald Trump hand-picked Chris Sununu for Senate and got rejected, New Hampshire Republicans are left with their backup plan: former failed Senate candidate and Massachusetts carpetbagger Scott Brown.
Scott Brown is running on one thing: Donald Trump’s economy-destroying, Medicaid-slashing agenda. Brown even said New Hampshire needs a senator to “fight for the Trump agenda.” Let’s be clear: Trump’s agenda is ravaging New Hampshire’s economy, and Scott Brown is cheering it on.
Brown backs Trump’s disastrous tariffs, even admitting he was “okay” with New Hampshire families paying more at the store. Tariffs have slammed the state’s lumber industry, driving up the cost of housing and construction across the Granite State. Brown was dead wrong about Trump slapping tariffs on U.S. allies like New Zealand, even though he is the former ambassador to New Zealand.
“Scott Brown is a Massachusetts politician who lost his last Senate race in New Hampshire because voters saw through the act. Now, he’s back again – only this time he’s on board with Trump slashing Medicaid and taxing Granite Staters with tariffs,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Nico Delgado. “From slashing health care to spiking grocery bills, Brown would help Republicans enact a plan that hurts working families.”
Here’s more that Granite Staters need to know about carpetbagger Scott Brown:
- Brown has long supported cutting Social Security and Medicare, calling it a “mandate” to go after earned benefits – putting nearly 334,000 Granite Staters who rely on Social Security at risk.
- Brown supports repealing the Affordable Care Act, which would strip coverage from over 62,000 Granite Staters and eliminate protections for more than 572,000 people with pre-existing conditions.
- Brown applauded veterans being fired.
- As a Trump ambassador, Brown was investigated for inappropriate behavior and formally counseled on his conduct.
- Brown applauded extremists like anti-vax conspiracy theorist RFK Jr. and unqualified Trump loyalist Pete Hegseth – boasting that he even “prepared” Hegseth for the job.
- Brown promoted climate denial, falsely claiming the science “is not proven.”
- Behind the scenes, Brown is funded by Big Tech interests to fight antitrust laws, while publicly hawking sketchy diet pills to unsuspecting consumers.
