American Bridge Vice President Shripal Shah statement on AG Jeff Sessions’ reported contact with Russia while he worked with Trump’s presidential campaign:
“This evening’s report proves it: the American people cannot trust Jeff Sessions to run an unbiased investigation of the Trump Administration’s ties to Russia. The country deserves an independent investigation of this scandal, but by lying to the Senate Judiciary Committee, Sessions has proven to be incapable of serving in an impartial fashion. He must recuse himself immediately, anything less than that cannot be tolerated.”
