This St. Patrick’s Day, House Republicans are taking the services you rely on right from the American pot.
American Bridge 21st Century wants to remind you what that looks like.
“Mike Johnson is putting his grubby little hands on everything American families need. From affording health care for your kids or putting food on the table for your family, Mike Johnson and Republicans in Congress are making it harder and harder— all while enriching themselves in the process,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Monica Venzke. “Republicans like Mike Lawler, Rob Bresnahan, Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and Mike Johnson won’t be feeling so lucky this November, so they should enjoy the ride on the rainbow while it lasts.”
As a reminder, here’s what House Republicans have been up to:
- Republicans pass Trump-backed tax plan that could drastically cut Medicaid
- Medicaid cuts in Trump’s ‘big beautiful bill’ will leave millions uninsured, threaten rural hospitals
- GOP’s scaled-back Medicaid plan still threatens coverage for millions
- House Republicans block Congress’ ability to challenge Trump tariffs
- Republicans trying to change rules to avoid House vote on Trump tariffs
- House again votes to surrender tariff powers to Trump
- After tariff ruling, farmers urge restraint as Trump vows new tariffs
- Rep. Rob Bresnahan sold stock in several Medicaid providers before voting for cuts
- The House Lawmaker With a Secret Helicopter
