Tomorrow: Herschel Walker and Marjorie Taylor Greene To Reunite On Stage

Mar 25, 2022

Weeks after pulling out of a Marjorie Taylor Greene event, Herschel Walker has decided  to share a stage with the white nationalist apologist

As the Atlanta Journal-Constitution put it yesterday, “Donald Trump is making sure his top Republican allies, including [Georgia Republican U.S. Senate candidate] Herschel Walker, can’t distance themselves from U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.”

Tomorrow, Walker will attend a rally with Marjorie Taylor Greene, only a few weeks after he canceled an event with the Congresswoman following her attendance at a white nationalist event where “attendees cheered Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and chanted Vladimir Putin’s name.”

Walker has failed to condemn Taylor Greene’s white nationalist affiliations, and he remains close to her, despite her open and repeated embrace of hate speech and bigotry

“Herschel Walker never gave a reason for skipping their last joint campaign appearance,” said American Bridge 21st spokesperson Aidan Johnson. “And his willingness to stand side by side with Greene at this Trump rally goes to show that it was always just a performative attempt to dodge reporters’ questions about her white nationalist associations.”

Greene has been a vocal supporter of Walker, urging him to run before he announced his campaign, and she attacked Mitch McConnell for trying to keep Walker out of the race last summer. Greene has even run possibly-illegal Facebook ads boosting Walker’s campaign, and her own campaign has donated at least $4,000 to support Walker’s Senate run
