If the highest ranking elected Republican in the United States can do it, why can’t the Colorado GOP? Today, Speaker Paul Ryan rebuffed Donald Trump as the GOP nominee.
“While it remains to be seen if the speaker will join the droves of #EventuallyTrump Republicans, Ryan made one thing clear: it’s not that hard to denounce Donald Trump,” said American Bridge President Jessica Mackler.“Unfortunately, it seems unlikely we’ll see the same from the Colorado Republican field. They’re all in for the Party of Trump and will never recognize the presumptive nominee for what he really is: a xenophobic bigot whose policies put our democracy in jeopardy.”
