GOP Can't Get Rid of Roy Moore as Scandal Spreads to Midterm Campaigns

Nov 20, 2017

“As Roy Moore’s sexual assault scandal enters it’s third week, two facts are clearer than ever. Republicans are stuck with Roy Moore, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s efforts to get rid of Moore have ended in failure. Now, Republicans face a devastating problem: a sexual predator continuing to generate toxic headlines for weeks and possibly longer, weighing down Republican chances in 2018 like an anchor,” said American Bridge spokesperson Joshua Karp

Following the first allegations of sexual assault against Moore, American Bridge launched digital ads against GOP candidates for U.S. Senate who shamefully stayed silent, including Sen. Dean HellerRep. Martha McSally, and Ohio Treasurer Josh Mandel.
