Ahead of Donald Trump’s call with Russian President and Trump campaign patron Vladimir Putin, American Bridge Vice President Shripal Shah released the following statement:
“Russian hackers, under Vladimir Putin’s direct orders, rigged the election in Donald Trump’s favor and for all we know Trump colluded with them to make this happen. With the FBI investigating four of Trump’s top campaign associates for colluding with Russian officials, today’s phone call comes under a cloud of lies designed to distract the public from the grim reality that the White House might be compromised. If Trump wants anyone to believe the opposite, he ought to release the full transcript of this call. Anything short of that will only further suspicions about Putin holding blackmail material.”
