Tonight is the Virginia gubernatorial debate, and since Winsome Earle-Sears’ favorite administration cost thousands of Virginians their jobs, we expect a lot of eyes on this one.
“Winsome Earle-Sears is the next Virginian on the chopping block to lose their job, so let’s see if she thinks it’s a ‘huge, huge thing’ this time,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Monica Venzke. “She hasn’t had any answers on what she’ll do to protect them from layoffs, skyrocketing prices, or their local hospitals closing, and I don’t foresee her starting now. Virginians deserve better than Winsome Earle-Sears, and if they haven’t seen that already, they’ll certainly see that tonight.”
As Virginians are losing their livelihood and their health care, Winsome Earle-Sears:
- Said she doesn’t think the thousands of DOGE job cuts are not a “huge, huge thing.”
- Doesn’t think it’s a “real issue” that thousands of Virginians lost their jobs.
- Denies that Medicaid cuts will impact Virginians, even after saying she’d use rainy day funds for the cuts.
- Supports Trump’s tariffs.
- Supports the Trump cuts even after rural health clinics in Virginia have been forced to close because of them.
- Is taking lavish private jets (and lying about it!)
