Scott Brown (R-MA) just launched another U.S. Senate bid in New Hampshire, and he’s made it clear he’s hoping his former boss Donald Trump can save him from another loss. When asked to name policy differences with Donald Trump, Scott Brown could only come up with one — Dr. Fauci.
- On CBS Boston, when pressed directly to name an issue he disagreed with Trump on, Brown responded with: “I don’t agree with what he did on Fauci, keeping him on too long and hiring him.”
- On New Hampshire Today, given a second opportunity, Scott Brown again could not name any policy differences there would be with Trump.
- And going even further on the Sean Hannity Show, Scott Brown said plainly that he’s running to “protect” Trump.
“Scott Brown already had two chances to show he’s not just another Trump rubber stamp, but Granite Staters don’t buy it — and for good reason,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Monica Venzke. “Granite Staters want someone in Washington who puts them first, not someone who’s running to ‘protect’ Donald Trump and bring his destructive economic agenda up north. Scott Brown may not be able to name a policy difference with Donald Trump – but voters in New Hampshire already have. They’ve said no to Trump three times, and they’ll do it again with Scott Brown.”
