Drew Johnson’s extreme anti-choice agenda and weird conspiracy theory touting didn’t lead him to victory in Nevada’s Third Congressional District.
“Drew Johnson lost his race? Yep, and water is wet,” said American Bridge 21st Century spokesperson Monica Venzke. “Drew Johnson is extremely unpopular and completely out-of-touch with Nevadans, so it’s no surprise that voters weren’t fooled by him. His loyalty is with Donald Trump, not Nevadans, and they know it.”
In case you forgot who Drew Johnson really is, he:
- Proudly endorsed Trump for president and stood by Trump after he was convicted of 34 felonies.
- Supported the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade
- Called the part of the Inflation Reduction Act that allows Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices “idiotic.”
- Opposes the Affordable Care Act.
- Spread climate denialism and debunked conspiracy theories that Russia was funding groups fighting for climate action in the U.S
- Was fired from his job as editorial page editor at the Chattanooga Times Free Press for violating the newspaper’s editing procedures.
