American Bridge 21st Century Launches New Hub for Need to Know Intel on the Most Vulnerable Republican Candidates in the 2026 Midterms

Jan 27, 2026

Today, American Bridge 21st Century announced the launch of a new public home for its opposition research on Republican candidates: Research Books. With this tool, everyone will have instant access to the hardest-hitting oppo on Republican candidates seeking election in 2026.

“In today’s media environment, voters get their information from everywhere: Influencers, social posts from friends, professional and non-professional journalists, campaign advertisements, and more,” said American Bridge 21st Century President Pat Dennis. “Opposition research can’t only be the tool of the professional political consultant. Everyone needs to know these extremist Republicans’ weaknesses, and we’re here to provide that material. If I have one message for Republicans in 2026, it’s this: you cannot hide from your record. You’ve worked against the American people on health care, on affordability, and on self-dealing to corrupt insiders. We will expose it, voters will hear about it, and you will lose.”

Research Books initially features thirty-seven Republican candidates across House, Senate, and state-level races, and will be updated with more in the coming months. These are the members and hopefuls who are central to the fight for control in 2026, and Research Books gives users an easy way to explore their records.

New Tools for a New Cycle that Make Republican Lies Harder to Hide

Research Books reflects American Bridge 21st Century’s commitment to making research accessible, transparent, and easy to use as the midterm fight heats up.

Research Agent:
Some questions are complex and draw from more than one area of American Bridge’s research.
Research Agent scans across the databases, pulls the relevant pieces together, and produces a clear summary with links to the original sources. It is like a research assistant that reads hundreds of pages in seconds.

MCP:
For users who want to integrate the research into their own AI setup, MCP allows them to connect their platform directly.  Chatbots like Claude and ChatGPT can be useful, but they are not built for real opposition research. They hallucinate, misunderstand context, and can fail to hit political targets where they’re most vulnerable with the speed and accuracy needed in a high-stakes election cycle.

We’ve fixed that by giving chatbots direct access to American Bridge’s opposition research via specialized interfaces and turned them into fast, precise, fact-driven weapons.

Instead of guessing or generating half-truth answers, these bots now pull directly from research files to create reports on candidate vulnerabilities, voting records, and issue-specific records on Republican candidates in competitive 2026 House, Senate, and Governor races. Operatives can connect to Research Books and instantly supercharge every press release draft, every email script, and every rapid response moment with verified opposition research.

GitHub:
For those who want to build on top of the data, everything needed is available through GitHub.

Downloadable Documents:
For traditionalists, all research remains available in plain Word files that can be downloaded and searched offline.

Smarter Tools for Faster, Clearer Facts

Research Books is more than a static archive. It is a set of tools that makes navigating political research easier than ever.

Users can browse core findings on the top candidates of the 2026 cycle and follow links to the Trump Research Book, which houses new reporting on Donald Trump and the effects of his administration on everyday families.

The site also includes sample video content created by the American Bridge team and partners, showing how campaigners and voters can turn research into clear and compelling messages.

“Facts work when people can find them and use them,” concluded Dennis. “This project is about taking good research and making it easier to understand and easier to put to work.”
